Kairos – Day 9

Sing and celebrate! Sing some more, celebrate some more! Sing your highest song of praise to our King

Psalm 47:6 (TPT)

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. Psalm 47:6 (KJV)

Praising God means telling or otherwise expressing how wonderful and great we believe God is and how much we love Him. To give praise to God is to proclaim His merit. We bless the Lord when we praise Him.  God is present and glorified when His people lift Him name in honor.

Adoring God for who He is  (Matthew 6:9)

Praise is indeed a potent and restorative tool. It changes us for the better by refocusing our affections, realigning our priorities, and restoring our souls. Our spirit becomes more open and receptive to receiving the Holy Spirit.

In 2023 let’s have the heart of David reminding ourselves that we will praise God in all circumstances, even when things seem hopeless. We are always to praise God, in the good time and bad times. Apostle Paul reminds us to Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). God inhabits the praises of His people!!!!
