DEVO Day 8

Faith to Faith

by Minister Jason Booker

Romans 1:17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

As we journey through the 21-day corporate fast, I’m reminded of a sermon I heard preached years ago.  We must have faith to endure and persevere through the things we face in life.  No matter what point we are at during this fast or facing some other issue, illness, or trial we need faith.  The key that I want to highlight is the word “to” in the middle of the phrase Faith to Faith.  There are levels of faith that we get to as we go through the issues of life.  The “to” can be the toughest part of this journey.  When we move from one faith and get to the “to” in the middle, this is when the enemy begins throwing everything at us to keep us from advancing to the next faith level.  I want to encourage you to not get stuck at the “to” or be tempted to turn back.  Keep moving forward and increase your faith.  Amen.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you for the measure of faith that I have.  I pray for increased faith and the strength to endure as I go from Faith to Faith.  I denounce fear, doubt, and unbelief, in the name of Jesus!  I know that I can do it with your help.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Alton A. Allen says:

Victory comes one day at a time.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Second Corinthians 10:4 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” So stay armed and ready for Satan’s attack. Then, whenever and however it comes, it won’t bring your life to a halt or even slow you down. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.
