Today’s Scripture: Daniel 1:5 NKJV
And the king appointed for them a daily provision of the king’s delicacies (skills) and of the wine which he drank, and three years of training for them, so that at the end of that time they might serve before the king.
There are two other ways the world wants to transform the Kingdom society to their standards:
3. Employment – (Vs. 5a) – And the king appointed for them a daily provision of the king’s delicacies (skills).
The King was employing those who would sale out to him. Those who would do the work the king’s way (corrupted)! Leadership who would bow down to the provisions of the king. People who would understand you can’t go to the next level unless you bow down and worship (Satan’s) or this case, the king’s way. Though you understand you have been trained by God. To get along with the personnel, you must conform to their way! Or do you want that position?
4. Extra Curricular Activities – (Vs. 5b) and of the wine which he drank, and three years of training for them, so that at the end of that time they might serve before the king.
The king (Satan) will put you through three years of intense training. They will show you what you need to do to be like them. Yes, you must party hearty, indulge in drunkenness and immorality.
Oh, but DANIEL SAID, “ENOUGH!!!!!”

Persecution may wear an insulting face. Insults may come as a result of a Christian’s lifestyle, which should be different from that of the secular world.
