Jesus Over Everything

Scripture: Genesis 6:11 “Meanwhile, the crime rate was rising rapidly across the earth, and, as seen by God, the world was rotten to the core” (TLB).
Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth” (KJV)
What man considers blessings are the opposite of what Matthew stated on the blessed list. With God the blessings are not tangible worldly things that will one day rot away; add one more “o” to rot and we have “root” our blessings are not rotting away but are rooted in Him! Hallelujah!
Our life is to give Him glory. He is that Jesus Who is Over Everything. Why? Because he is the creator of it all including you and I. When the focus of life is on everything else, but him, take a moment today and refocus on Him. Jesus, knowing and receiving him is our greatest inheritance in the earth.
Prayer: Father, forgive us for looking to everything else in everything else. You are our Creator, we decree and declare, Jesus Over Everything. Help us to see in knowing your Love we are blessed; therefore, today we choose to be meek, content, rooted in having you, our Everything. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayer, now in Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
