God Reigns!
Psalm 47:8 NIV reads; “God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. ”
One translation reads, “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.” (KJV) The “th” at the end of the words in the KJV indicates continually. He continuously reigns over and sits on the throne.
We want the Lord to reign over and in every area of our lives. HE reigns in us. Romans 8: 10 read, “And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. So, let the redeemed of the Lord say so, “Our God reigns!”
Despite what we see, hear, feel, or even experience; if it’s contrary to what God says concerning us, let us hold fast to the report of the Lord.
“Lord, we pray for your supernatural increase in all areas of our lives especially those areas where we experience lack. We believe for supernatural increase, for a deeper relationship with you, our finances, knowledge, patience, love, understanding, etc. We lift our nation and economy up before you. Let us always be a nation under God. Let the poor be able to say I am rich and the unemployed find meaningful employment. Let those who know and say that they love you continue believing and knowing you are God over all. Amen and Amen!
