The Lord says, uncommon results require uncommon behavior, and fervent prayer must be used to attain a difficult goal or prize!
To FAST: Tsum.(Strong’s 6684); A FAST: Tsom. Noun (Strong’s 6685).
Sounds like: tzoom & tzohm. The study of the word “fast” reveals its evolution from the original Hebrew word “tsowm,” which literally means “to cover or to close one’s mouth.” By strict interpretation, its meaning is to “not eat.”
We can fast from anything, but fasting food is direct and effective. A real fast crucifies the flesh, increases your authority in things of the SPIRIT, breaks down invisible demonic barriers and RELEASES victory from the Lord.
