Word for today … Praying with Confidence
Romans 6:4 (AMP)
“We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life [abandoning our old ways].”
Psalm 37:23 (AMP)
“The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. ”
We can’t always determine the course in our circumstances or unknowns, but we can certainly choose the posture in which we take the NEXT STEP…Not in the next month or even next year but starting with the very next thing. We can choose to adjust our posture toward either faith or fear, gratitude or grumbling, eternity or external expectations. So, remember the cross of Christ makes it possible to walk in the newness of life, so we don’t have to succumb to what would otherwise come naturally. We can keep picking up, pressing in and praying on because we know posture is the difference between duty & delight. His love & His Word makes the next step powerful & the one we give thanks for right now.
