2 Chronicles 32:8 (NIV) says,
“With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.”
It’s amazing how the people gained confidence from what the king of JUDAH said (the king of praise).
When we first became saved, we were just happy to be accepted by God. We didn’t need approval from anyone else, we believed God for ANY and EVERYTHING. We praised God and were confident that He could do all things, great and small. We were simply grateful. Being grateful will builds confidence like nothing else. Especially, our confidence in God. When God sees that we are confident in Him, He unlocks amazing blessings upon our lives. When praises go up, blessings truly come down. It is essential that we develop into people who are consistent in both prayer and praise, and remain confident in what God has said that He will do.
Father God, we adore You and praise Your Holy Name. Thank You for providing us with daily instructions on how to walk out this life in confidence. Strengthen us Father, as we endeavor
to approach Your throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Help us to encourage others to be persistent in prayer and praise, so that when we ask anything according to Your will, You will hears us and we will receive what we ask (1 John 5:14).
In Jesus Name. Amen and Amen.
